A DRIVING instructor will deliver a lesson with a difference to raise money for a well-known cause.
Kay Blackburn will tackle the York leg of Children in Need's Big Leaner Relay as instructors and their pupils travel around the country, passing on the Big Learner Relay Top Box from one driving lesson to another.
The city's event takes place on Wednesday, November 4 from the pay and display car park next to Tesco in Tadcaster Road, and will travel through York before arriving at The Hopgrove Playing Fields in Malton Road.
Mrs Blackburn, of Stockton on the Forest, has been a driving instructor since 2007 and will instruct her pupil, Matthew Graves, 18, on the big day.
She said: "It's a great cause and hopefully gives us some good publicity.
